Pea Soup Digital Links Up With ExpoTees

Adam Riddick, our very own Development Project Manager, is heading
back to uni today in the hope of recruiting some talented 2015 graduates at
Teesside University’s ExpoTees exhibition.

As an impressive interactive exhibition by Teesside
University’s final year Computing students, ExpoTees gives soon-to-be
graduates the chance to demonstrate their abilities and showcase their work to industry
professionals and prospective employers.

Adam, our in-house tech-wizard and all-round nice guy, can
relate to budding undergraduate ExpoTees whiz-kids as he was given the same opportunity to display
his work at the 2013 event, whilst only in his second year of studying a
Computer Science degree.

Adam’s
innovative interactive financial management tool impressed many potential
employers at ExpoTees 2013, and was rewarded with a well-deserved one-year placement at
Washington’s Simpson Group.

Adam left
the Simpson Group to lead the development of Pea Soup Digital’s e-commerce
platforms in June 2014 and has never looked back: “I absolutely love the job
and I am working on some really exciting projects.

“Completing
my degree at Teesside University is giving me the best of both worlds.

“I can’t
speak highly enough of ExpoTees and the opportunities it provides. It enables
you to make a memorable impression and have a number of important conversations
with people from industry.

“I’m looking
forward to returning this year to experience the event from the other side and
we hope to be able to recruit some innovative and creative members of staff who
can change the way we do things for the better.”

Proud to be part of its 10th year anniversary celebrations,
Pea Soup Digital will join Accenture as a headline sponsor of ExpoTees 2015, and we will also present the inaugural Pea Soup
Digital Award for Innovation
to one deserving exhibitor at Thursday’s awards ceremony.

Check our blog next week for a look back at what promises to
be an event saturated by awe-inspiring talent.
